How to pack school lunches for a week — UK Sunday method

Morning packing fails at 7:40. Sunday assembly wins.

Eight moves. Sunday night, five boxes.

  1. Five boxes out. Same set every week. Names on lids if kids share a shelf.
  2. Carb base. Wraps, pasta pots, or bread. Own-brand is fine.
  3. Protein lane. Cheese, ham, hummus, leftover chicken. Variety across days.
  4. Fruit washed. Apples and grapes ready. No morning scrub.
  5. Snack portion. One treat, one filling. Not three treats.
  6. Freeze juice cartons. They thaw by lunch and keep the box cool.
  7. Fridge stack. Mon at the front. Grab and go.
  8. Grid backup. Free meal grid covers dinners; lunches follow the same rhythm.
