No-fee FAQ chatbot

A free website chatbot for small businesses. It answers your customers' common questions from a list you approve, so it never invents prices or promises. One script file, no AI service, no API key, no cookies and no monthly fee. MIT licence.

Try it: this demo is set up for a pretend bakery. Ask "when are you open?", "can you deliver a cake?" or "anything vegan?", or try something it doesn't know.

Add it to your site

  1. Write your questions and answers in a spreadsheet with three columns: question, answer, keywords. Save it as CSV.
  2. Run python3 tools/csv_to_faq.py faqs.csv faq.json --name "Your Business" --colour "#1f3fbf".
  3. Upload faq-bot.js and faq.json to your site and paste this before </body>:
