Tips that save December
- Set a phone alarm for 9pm labelled "move the elf". It's the one thing every tired parent wishes they'd done.
- Keep a small elf box by the kettle with string, pegs, paper, a pen and tape. That covers most of the ideas here.
- Save the big set-ups for weekends. On school nights, a funny pose is plenty.
- Forgot? The elf "was so comfy there it stayed another night", or leave a note saying it was helping the reindeer.

Is the elf ideas generator free?

Which nights get the bigger ideas?
The 24-night plan puts the 10-minute ideas on weekend nights in December 2026 (the Friday and Saturday nights before Saturday 5, 12 and 19 and Sunday 6, 13 and 20 December), so school nights stay quick.
Are these ideas messy?
Most aren't. Tick 'No mess only' and you'll only get ideas that tidy away in seconds. Anything with flour, sugar or popcorn is marked as a little mess.
What if my child touches the elf?
