Free printable Christmas gift tags 2026: add names, print 8 per A4

Type who each present is for and who it is from, pick a style and print neat gift tags on A4, with a dashed cut line and a marked spot for the hole punch. Or leave the names empty and print a sheet of blank tags to write on. Free, no sign-up, nothing saved.

Make the tags

Leave the names box empty for a sheet of eight blank tags. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

How to get the best result

  • Print on A4 at 100 per cent (not 'fit to page') and tick Background graphics so the colours come out.
  • Use thin card or paper around 120 to 200 gsm so the tags do not curl; ordinary printer paper works too.
  • Cut along the dashed edge, punch the marked circle, then thread string, ribbon or twine through.
  • For a handwritten look, leave the names empty, print blanks and fill them in with a gold or silver pen.
  • Writing them in advance? Do the whole family in one go: one name per line, press the button once.

Common questions

Are these Christmas gift tags really free?

Yes. Type the names, press the button and print. There is no sign-up, no email and no watermark. If you like the planner we sell, that is optional.

How many tags fit on one sheet?

Eight tags per A4 sheet, in two columns of four, each about 9.5 cm by 6 cm. Add more than eight names and the page makes extra sheets automatically, up to 48 tags.

How do I print them?

Press Print the tags, choose A4 at 100 per cent (not 'fit to page') and, if your browser offers it, tick Background graphics for the colour. Choose Save as PDF instead of a printer if you want a file.

Can I print blank tags to write on by hand?

Yes. Leave the names box empty and press the button to get a sheet of eight blank tags with To and From lines. Press Print and you can fill them in with a pen.

What if I want to save ink?

Pick Plain outline. It prints a thin coloured border and a small motif on white paper, so it uses very little ink, and looks smart on kraft or brown parcel paper.

What should I use to attach them?

Cut along the dashed edge, punch a hole at the marked spot with a hole punch or a sharp pencil, and thread string, ribbon or twine through. Thicker paper or thin card, around 120 to 200 gsm, holds up best.

Is anything saved or sent?

No. The tags are built in your browser from what you type. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere, so print or save as a PDF before you close the page.

Can I use them for a Secret Santa or a Christmas Eve box?

Yes. Put the Secret Santa name in the To line and leave From blank, or write 'Santa' in the From box. Our free Secret Santa generator and Christmas Eve box page work well alongside.
