Who it's for

Parents, grandparents and carers of children aged about 3 to 9 who have a Christmas elf visiting in December, whether it's your first elf year or you've simply run out of ideas. Nothing to buy: it uses what's already in the house.

Questions

When do I get it?

By email. After payment we check it with Stripe and email your PDF, usually within a few hours and always within 12 hours. Stripe emails your receipt too. If anything goes wrong, email hello@tchworks.co.uk and we'll send it. Want it straight away? Use the Instant download button for the same PDF through Gumroad, and it downloads as soon as you've paid.

Is an elf toy included?

No. This is a printable kit of ideas, letters, notes and props that works with any Christmas elf toy, doll or teddy your family already has. Nothing is posted to you.

What if I forget to move the elf?

Every elf parent does! Page 15 has ready-made notes for it: 'I stayed put on purpose', 'I was too tired to move', 'snowed in at the North Pole', plus one for when the elf gets touched.

Do the ideas need lots of shopping?

No. Most of the 24 nights use things already in the house (string, a mug, marshmallows, toilet roll, a book). The 40 two-minute ideas need nothing at all. Bigger set-ups are put on weekend nights.

What ages is it for?

Roughly 3 to 9, the ages when the elf visit is most magical. The notes are short and easy for early readers, and the kindness cards and scavenger hunt suit older children.

Can I print it more than once?

Yes, print it as many times as your family needs, in colour or black and white, this year and next. Please don't resell it or share it outside your family.
